    The Chinese American Alliance has written to both Democratic and Republican candidates for the presidency of the United States of America, offered our congratulation to their party’s nomination and their hard-fought campaign in this very challenging time. 

    We have made clear that we are looking forward to the beginning of a new era that will end a dismal eight years of grossly mismanaged administration that led us into a wrong and costly war, left the American people still vulnerable to the deadly threat of international terrorists and a disintegrated domestic and global economy, divided our people in partisan and regional disunity, and severely ruined our national image and reputation in the international community.

    We have also offered to help rebuilding our nation immediately after the general election as the transition team takes over and leads us in a new direction to success.

    Many members of the Chinese American community excel in business, education, science, engineering, medicine and all professional fields.  We are waiting for a call to action from our new leadership and being ready and willing to contribute to whatever it takes to make America great again!!

    As we face the challenges of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression and the first worldwide destabilization of world and regional peace in the 21^st century, we call on all of our American citizens to join us in the nation-rebuilding effort starting with taking part in the general election next Tuesday.  Everyone must cast his/her vote.  Vote for your national, state and local candidates and all propositions and measures.  It is our duty in this greatest democracy on earth to cast our ballot on November 4^th or on an earlier date!!
